Project Description
The Small Faces are often considered one of the most influential bands of the 1960s and we were honoured to be charged with the task of building a new website which we hope does justice to their legacy.
From a design perspective, the brief was to capture the spirit of times past with a retro style. Some elements from the artwork of an earlier box set edition lend some vintage flourishes recalling the recording studio and faded newspapers from the period.
We were also fortunate to be able to work with a wealth of photos and information to develop some great content, looking back on the history of the band as well as promoting new releases. Some great new biographical articles were created for the band members (Steve Marriott, Ronnie Lane, Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan and original member Jimmy Winston). It was particularly pleasing to work on the story of the Small Faces fan club and its hard-working secretary, Pauline Corcoran.
